Alan Hirsch

President of Bay Paper Company Inc., based in Mobile, Alabama.

Alan Hirsch took over the family business in 1983 after the death of his father, Raymond Hirsch. He has continued to maintain the company’s high standards of service and adapt to market changes to ensure growth and stability.

Alan graduated from the University of South Alabama in 1980 with a double major in biology and psychology and a minor in chemistry. Although initially lacking a formal business education, Alan learned the intricacies of business management through hands-on experience at Bay Paper, working full-time during the summers and learning on the job.
